Following is a report displaying Internet usage in January to June 2007, compared to a similar period in 2008. It has been extracted from the justweb 2008 first half statistical analysis report, which draws data from the following:

January 2007 to June 2007: 48,047 unique visitors
January 2008 to June 2008: 74,261 unique visitors

It gives a reasonably good indication of operating system and browser usage, connection speeds, as well as some other details. justweb is hosted on an Australian server, and (as of 25 June 2008) has a World Wide Alexa Rank of 407,860, and an Australian Alexa Rank of 11,579.

From the following statistics, we can see trends like dialup connections have slightly INCREASED, screen resolution has remained roughly the same, however 1280x800 has almost doubled, indicating a greater use of laptops, Windows operating system usage has dropped slightly and Mac has increased slightly, and Internet Explorer has dropped, but Firefox has increased.
