With a new Australian service I've found, you can send SMS messages for only 10c each, or for as low as 5c each when sent in bulk. Unlike a lot of services I've used, particularly from overseas, this SMS gateway works with Australian networks such as Telstra, Optus, Virgin, Vodaphone, and Three.
Not only that, you can choose to have your replies sent to an email address, as well as logged to your account for future reference or reporting.
But wait - there's more! You can download a plugin for your MS Outlook so you can simply send SMS messages from your email program, utilising the information in your address book - to one person only, or a group of people. There are many other options available as well.
