Email Marketing Software - Keeping In Touch
One way to keep your customers coming back is to regularly keep in touch.
Let them know you are still "alive" and actively supporting them. In order to do
this, you need good quality email marketing software.
I use online software called 1-2-All Email Marketing software which has many fantastic and useful standard features, plus additional options and add-on modules. Just some of the standard features are:
Personalised emails
How much more effective is it to receive an email that looks like it is addressed to you
personally - eg, "Dear Rob", rather than "Dear Subscriber"?
Bounce management
What happens if people change email addresses? In a lot of software, this has to be managed manually. Not with 1-2-All - it has "automatic bounce management", so you can set the number of bounces, after which the "dead" email address is automatically removed.
Wonder if people actually read your email?
1-2-All has full statistical analysis tools that allow you to see:
- how many people read your email
- how often the email was read
- which links they clicked on
- how often the links were clicked
- how many bounces you had
- who unsubscribed
You can also export this analysis into a number of different formats to determine exactly how effective your campaign was.
Make sure people can read your email
Have you ever received an email that was hard to read because it had a lot of code showing, or just looked like a big mess? Usually that's because you have received a poorly formatted HTML email, or your system blocks HTML emails. 1-2-All fixes that - it has the ability to send "mime type" emails. That is, you create both a HTML version AND a text version, but the recipient only receives the version they can read.
Don't know how to create HTML emails?
With 1-2-All it's simple - it has a built in WSIWYG editor. If you can use Microsoft Word, you can use this editor. You can also purchase easy to use templates so your newsletters have that professional look and feel.
Need different lists?
Do you have a need for more than one list, and for that matter, more than one admin? No problem! 1-2-All allows multiple admin logins and multiple lists. For example, you may have an office in Kogarah and another in Parramatta. You can have the two separate client lists so you can not only personalise the emails, but regionalise them too. You might also want to include a signup on your website, separate to your actual client mailing list.
