Copywriting

Website Copywriting A good copywriter knows which words trigger the feelings that compel people to make decisions. They write with flair, making it easy for people to be drawn into what they are saying about your business, services or products - see professional copywriting, and an example of good copywriting for a Mercedes Dealer, or not-so-good copy for a Used Mercedes dealer.

Link popularity is big these days online. They say if you have more inbound links, you get more search engine referrals.

About 3 months ago, I started writing articles to promote my web site. Articles is just about the only thing I have done to promote my web site. Urltrends tells me that I have an estimated 827 inbound links to my web sites. Go figure.

I have done it almost 100% by writing articles, including a couple of links to my web pages at the end of each article, and the article directories do the rest for me.

I just concentrate on writing, I submit my articles to one article directory in particular, and does all the work.

How does it work?
Basically what happens is that when I submit my article, with my links intact, the article directory not only publishes my article, but the have an RSS feed that goes out to other web sites that are looking for current content, and then my article is posted on their web sites too. And sometimes an ezine publisher will pick up my article and send it out to his ezine mailing list, and that creates traffic for me, too - but this is about link popularity, not traffic.
